Wow! I just had to write this, I am feeling really quite nostalgic and longing for the Summer and the very real possibility of days out to the seaside and possibly a small holiday....
Today there was just a hint of Spring and a blessing of warmth from the Sun, then I remembered this picture of a tiny me on a rather large pony at the beach, I suspect it was at Filey many years ago but I look in control of the situation although rather secretly I may have been nervous, actually really quite terrified! Such as the time mum and dad took me to Flamingo Land in the 1970's long before Health and Safety became a massive deal and law! Dad put a cockatoo bird on my head, or maybe the keeper did, anyway the cockatoo took a dislike to my curly mop and pecked my ear rather unkindly, all very much to the amusement of my father! Bless him xx
