Ampleforth Adventure today ❤️💖❤️

Here we are hubby and me, all wrapped up warm on a very cold Yorkshire Day, we are about to visit Ampleforth, a beautiful village very close by here in the Howardian Hills.

It is my family home, my dad came from there, as did most of my ancestors!

Indeed it is my wonderful escape into a past world, from my dad's words, I feel as if I know every brick and tree of my lovely Ampleforth.

I will put lots of history and pictures of Ampleforth and surrounding villages on this blog.

My promise and hope is to try draw you into our little piece of Yorkshire Heaven and my aim to picture for you the villages through all changing seasons to give you lots of Yorkshire insight and a taste of our traditions and life and of course our beautiful unique scenery.
